Producemobile, located in Chicago Heights, IL, is dedicated to combating food insecurity by providing access to fresh produce for families in need. On the second Tuesday of each month, we distribute 15-25 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables per person, along with essential household cleaning and personal hygiene items. Our services operate through a walk-up line from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, encouraging community members to bring wheeled carts or sturdy bags for easy transport. All distributions occur outdoors to ensure safety during COVID, with masks required for everyone. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere as we support individuals seeking food assistance and essential items in their lives.
