Food Pantry

Located in Chicago Heights, IL, the Village of Steger's Food Pantry is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to households grappling with food insecurity. Our mission is to ensure that individuals and families receive the basic nutrition they need to thrive. Each month, pantry recipients are welcome to access our services twice, allowing us to distribute vital food supplies responsibly. Our pantry operates on specific days: we welcome visitors on Saturdays following the first and third Fridays of the month from 9-11 a.m., with doors opening at 8:45 a.m., and on Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. Clear signs are posted to inform the community of our open dates and hours, as we strive to be a reliable source of emergency food for those in need.
