Located in Chicago Heights, Illinois, Adult Health, part of the Infant Welfare Society, is dedicated to providing comprehensive adult care in a supportive and bilingual environment. Our mission emphasizes empowering individuals to take charge of their healthcare through a variety of essential services. We offer preventive care and annual exams for both men and women, along with health education, nutrition counseling, and chronic disease management for conditions such as obesity and diabetes. Additional services include work physicals, STI screenings, contraception provision, and comprehensive medical screenings. We prioritize prevention and early detection of chronic illnesses, offering referrals for specialized services like mammograms when necessary. To ensure accessibility, we accept Medicaid and provide a sliding scale fee for eligible patients facing financial hardships.
