MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of Veterans in Carpentersville, IL through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity and connect them with tailored weight management services that suit their individual needs. We offer a variety of options including supportive group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! service that allows Veterans to manage their weight in the comfort of their own homes with clinician support. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available for those who prefer a self-guided approach. For Veterans who require more intensive intervention, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
