Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program in Carol Stream, IL, is dedicated to empowering eligible pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children, with essential nutrition assistance and support. Our services are offered at no cost to qualifying families in DuPage County and include nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and access to nutritious supplemental foods. We provide valuable resources such as breastfeeding counseling, free breast pumps, and dedicated Family Case Managers who collaborate with public health nurses to ensure comprehensive support through clinic visits and home outreach. Additionally, clients benefit from free health and nutrition screenings, personalized nutrition counseling, and referrals for medical care and vaccinations, all aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of families in our community.
