Healthy Families

Healthy Families, based in Carol Stream, IL, is a dedicated program by Teen Parent Connection that offers compassionate, evidence-based support to young parents aged 12 to 19 in DuPage County. Our nationally accredited home visiting model ensures that we meet young families in their own homes, fostering a nurturing environment where specific needs are addressed. Our skilled home visitors provide personalized assistance, covering essential topics such as infant care, healthy nutrition, child development, and self-care for parents. We also connect families to valuable community resources, empowering them to build a supportive network. This comprehensive program, including parenting and health education, is offered free of charge, with visits starting either prenatally or within the first three months after birth and continuing until the child turns five.
