Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Calumet City, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a secure place to call home. Our mission is to empower young adults aged 18-24 to take an active role in managing their housing situations through personalized support and advocacy. We provide essential services, including a walk-in entry point to connect individuals with vital resources, limited financial assistance for homelessness prevention, and education for residents facing eviction or foreclosure. Our comprehensive approach includes money management counseling to enhance financial literacy, career coaching to prepare clients for employment, and assistance with SNAP and Medicaid applications. In partnership with the Greater Chicago Food Depository, we also operate a food pantry, offering monthly food assistance to residents in need.
