Youth HYPE Housing Program

At the Youth HYPE Housing Program in Calumet City, IL, we believe that everyone deserves a safe and supportive place to call home. As part of Northwest Compass, our mission is to empower young adults aged 18 to 24 by providing essential resources and guidance to navigate their housing situations effectively. Our program offers various services including emergency assistance for homelessness, financial support to prevent eviction and foreclosure, and comprehensive money management counseling to promote financial literacy. We also provide career coaching to help clients become job-ready, ensuring they can secure stable employment. Additionally, our Food Pantry is available to all local residents on a monthly basis, supporting those in need with nutritious options. With a focus on advocacy and education, we work diligently to connect individuals to valuable resources, including SNAP and Medicaid application assistance. At Northwest Compass, we treat every individual with kindness and respect, transforming crises into opportunities for growth and stability, all at no cost to our community members.
