Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Calumet City, IL, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to promoting health and nutrition for pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and children under the age of five. As part of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program funded by the USDA, WIC offers essential services that include nutrition education, personalized counseling, breastfeeding support, and vouchers for nutritious foods. In addition, we provide vital referrals to other social and health services to ensure families have access to the support they need. Our mission is to empower mothers and young children toward healthy eating habits and improved health outcomes.
