Located in Buffalo Grove, IL, the American Indian Health Service of Chicago (AIHSC) is the only Urban Indian Health Program in Illinois, dedicated to delivering comprehensive primary care and mental health services to American Indians and other underserved communities. Our mission is to provide culturally sensitive healthcare that addresses the holistic needs of our patients, from chronic disease management to preventive care through screenings and vaccinations. We emphasize an integrated model where behavioral health seamlessly merges with primary care, ensuring that individuals can obtain support for both physical and mental health challenges. Our offerings include services such as women's health check-ups, pediatric care, asthma management, and access to discounted medications for those who are uninsured or underinsured. With a focus on accessibility, we accept most insurance plans and offer a sliding scale for self-pay patients based on family size and income.
