Amber Schultz, MA, LCPC, is a dedicated counselor who understands that the decision to begin therapy can often feel uncomfortable and daunting for many individuals. Creating a genuine client-therapist relationship and a safe space is a top priority for her. She strives to make the therapeutic process as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, viewing therapy as a collaborative journey rooted in each individual’s unique strengths and goals. Passionate about supporting adolescents and adults who are searching for purpose or direction, Amber is skilled in challenging and transforming negative thoughts and behaviors. Through a holistic, person-centered, and trauma-informed approach, she integrates her knowledge and training into her sessions, empowering clients to bring their life experiences to the forefront. Believing firmly that each client is the expert on their own life, Amber meets clients where they are, encouraging them to embrace their authentic selves and find their worth and direction in living life fully. As a counselor, she admires the courage it requires to reach out for help and to face change, witnessing and being part of her clients’ growth is immensely rewarding for her. Outside the counseling room, Amber enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants around the city, and cherishing time spent with family, friends, and her beloved dog, Brizzy.
