LiveSTRONG at the YMCA

LiveSTRONG at the YMCA in Berwyn, IL, is a supportive initiative dedicated to cancer survivors aged 18 and older from the surrounding areas, including Cicero, Forest View, Lyons, North Riverside, Riverside, and Stickney. Our program offers personalized exercise instruction with certified trainers, unlimited access to all YMCA facilities and classes for a full 12 weeks, and valuable nutrition education conducted by a registered dietitian. Participants receive a LiveSTRONG wristband, guidebook, planner, and journal to aid their journey, alongside engaging weekly group discussions and support sessions. This program is designed to be accessible, with no cost to participants and no membership requirement, making it easier for survivors, even those currently in treatment, to prioritize their health and well-being in a caring community environment.
