Rachel Jean Hudson

Rachel Jean Hudson is a dedicated clinical social worker and therapist, holding an MSW and LCSW. She understands that the world can be a noisy and busy place, and believes that therapy offers an essential space for individuals to slow down and truly be heard and supported. With a keen fascination for people, Rachel recognizes that everyone faces their own struggles and discomforts. She is skilled in navigating uncomfortable emotions with patience, empathy, acceptance, and thoughtfulness, while also bringing a touch of tough love, humor, and unconventional approaches into her practice. Her specializations encompass trauma, crisis management, anger management, anxiety, depression, survivor’s guilt, everyday life stressors, and self-image or perception issues. With a passion for working with teenagers and adults from diverse backgrounds, Rachel’s unique insights stem from her own experiences as a Veteran and the spouse of a retired disabled Army Veteran. These lived experiences provide her with a deep understanding of unconventional relationships, their associated stressors, and the adaptations required for constant change and evolution. Rachel is currently making a positive impact at Light Source, LLC.
