Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

Located in Belleville, IL, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program is dedicated to supporting the health and nutritional needs of pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, as well as infants and young children. WIC provides critical food assistance through supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support to families facing nutritional challenges. We conduct screenings to assess nutrition and health needs and offer information on utilizing WIC foods effectively to enhance well-being. Participants benefit from coupons for healthy foods, referrals to healthcare providers, and connections to additional programs such as Food Stamps and Healthy Start.
