Based in Bartlett, IL, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship at the Allegheny Mountain Institute is dedicated to fostering future leaders in food advocacy and education. Our program empowers individuals to become passionate advocates for a food system that balances social, environmental, and economic justice. We provide comprehensive, tuition-free training focusing on organic food systems, where Fellows gain hands-on experience in diverse agricultural practices, community gardens, and health education initiatives. Through their six-month residential experience at Allegheny Farm, followed by a Community Action Year, Fellows collaborate with local non-profits to promote food accessibility and sustainability. Join us in cultivating a healthier food future by applying before March each year for an enriching experience running from May to October.
