Illinois Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) serves the Alton, IL community by supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and young children up to five years old. Our mission is to promote healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition education and access to supplemental foods. WIC also offers breastfeeding promotion and support, along with referrals for vital healthcare services. We are dedicated to empowering families with the resources they need to thrive, ensuring that every child has the opportunity for a healthy start.
