Tara Janego

Tara Janego is a compassionate registered mental health counselor intern dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges. Understanding that it is natural for answers to life’s dilemmas to sometimes feel unclear, she offers a safe space for clients experiencing uncertainty, frustration, or confusion. Tara collaborates closely with her clients, combining her experience, training, and active listening skills with their unique expertise about themselves and their experiences. Together, they work towards gaining insights and developing effective, individualized treatment goals. Tara has experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, with a specific focus on adolescents and young adults, especially during important life transitions like the shift from high school to college or into adulthood. Her special interests include codependency, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and navigating life transitions. Recognizing that seeking therapy is a vital first step in the healing process, Tara provides understanding support to those who may feel overwhelmed. She believes that no one has to navigate life's journey alone; sometimes, a guiding hand can make all the difference.
