Rowena Kaylor is a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, and Sex Therapist with a wealth of experience starting her journey in psychotherapy back in 1998. With a focus on Personal Empowerment, Mindfulness of the Present Moment, and Gratefulness, she has significantly impacted the lives of her clients. Rowena honed her skills at South Miami Hospital's Addiction Treatment Detox Unit for six years, followed by two years in their Intensive Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program, where she guided individuals toward Recovery Thinking, facilitating a greater understanding of their internal world and fostering commitment to transformation. Currently in private practice, she offers therapy sessions in both English and Spanish, working with individuals, families, couples, and addressing issues related to aging and grief.
