Shawna Schultz

Shawna Schultz is a registered mental health counselor intern with extensive training and dedication to helping children and young people navigate their challenges, including depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, guilt and shame, trauma, self-esteem issues, and chronic illness or pain. She believes in understanding each client’s unique needs and is committed to meeting them, fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship that supports achieving their goals. Shawna utilizes various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy, tailoring her approach to align with her clients’ preferences and emotional processing styles. Drawing from her own experiences of overcoming a difficult childhood and adolescence, Shawna is driven by her passion to share her story and reassure those she works with that they are not alone in their struggles.
