WIC - Women Infants Children Nutrition Program

The Women Infants Children (WIC) Nutrition Program in Vero Beach, FL, is dedicated to supporting the nutritional needs of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to five years old. Through our comprehensive services, we provide eligible participants with access to healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to essential health care and community services, all at no cost. Our participants utilize WIC EBT cards to conveniently purchase a variety of wholesome foods, including milk, eggs, fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and more from authorized grocery stores. WIC strongly advocates for breastfeeding as the healthiest choice for infants and offers specialized support to mothers in this journey. We also host La Leche League meetings monthly, where mothers can share experiences and seek breastfeeding advice in a welcoming environment. To qualify for our program, participants must meet specific income guidelines and demonstrate a nutrition-related need.
