Renee Harley

Renee Harley is a culturally-affirming therapist and a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern with a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from SUNY University at Albany. As a Ghanaian American who identifies as Christian, Renee brings a unique perspective to her practice that enhances her understanding of clients' diverse backgrounds. With experience in various mental health settings, she has effectively supported children, adolescents, adults, and families in overcoming challenges such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. Renee specializes in a range of issues, including behavioral difficulties, self-esteem concerns, relationship problems, and childhood trauma. Utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Person-Centered approaches, she empowers clients to achieve their personal goals and fosters an environment of compassion and support. Through her effective interventions and her own lived experiences, Renee guides clients towards lasting change, helping them not just survive, but thrive. She currently offers telehealth sessions with flexible evening appointments, ready to support individuals on their journey to emotional well-being.
