Monica Nieman

Monica Nieman, MS, LMHC, is a dedicated counselor who recently relocated to Florida from Minnesota. With years of experience supporting teenagers in high schools as they navigate their emotions and relationships, as well as working in a state facility with adults facing persistent mental illness and brain injuries, she understands the challenges that life can present. Monica believes that all individuals have the potential to reach their fullest capabilities and that sometimes, all it takes is a road map to guide them on their journey. She is committed to providing that roadmap, believing that no one has to face life's difficulties alone. Monica employs a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered approaches, assisting her clients in moving toward self-efficacy. As someone who uses these same tools in her own life, she recognizes the inevitable growing pains of personal development. Monica aims to be a supportive partner in her clients' journeys, offering a compassionate space for discussion and growth. This work is not merely a job for her; it is a true passion.
