Lori Aitken

Lori Aitken is a dedicated Counselor and LMHC with over 25 years of experience specializing in treating anxiety disorders. She possesses a wealth of knowledge in assisting individuals dealing with panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, and various forms of anxiety such as generalized, health, and social anxiety. Her advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with her graduation from the International OCD Foundation's Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), has equipped her with proven techniques to support clients effectively. Lori is committed to her field, currently serving on the Board of Directors of OCD Central and South Florida, an affiliate of the IOCDF. Among her offerings, she provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), as well as a newer evidence-based approach known as Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT).
