Dr. John Berg is a board-certified, licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of complex mental health issues, including trauma, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and anxiety. His journey began in engineering with a bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University. However, after pursuing a PhD at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Dr. Berg felt an unfulfilled calling and transitioned into psychology, ultimately earning both a master's and PhD in clinical psychology from Emory University in Atlanta. Since 2009, he has provided compassionate therapy to hundreds of individuals, both in private practice and as a trauma program manager at the VA Hospital. Dr. Berg has made significant contributions as a psychologist in various treatment programs at VA hospitals across Florida and Georgia. He has trained numerous clinicians and empowered countless patients to recover from chronic mental health conditions using evidence-based therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure therapy. With a profound passion for understanding and validating the experiences of his clients, Dr. Berg is dedicated to supporting them on their journeys toward recovery.
