Mike Mincy

Mike Mincy is a dedicated clinical social worker and therapist with a heartfelt understanding of the challenges adults face, especially those juggling the responsibilities of parenthood. Reflecting on his own childhood, he recognizes the excitement and trials of growing up, which allows him to connect deeply with clients who feel overwhelmed. With six years of experience serving homeless and at-risk children, teens, and families at Capital City Youth Services, Inc., Mike has developed a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma, as well as navigating family and couple conflicts, depression, and anxiety. Outside of his counseling practice, Mike cherishes time spent with his wife and two children, enjoys fishing at St. Marks, engages in video gaming, runs for fitness, and expands his knowledge about the Star Wars universe. His diverse interests and empathetic nature make him a supportive ally for those seeking help and guidance.
