Cecile Michelotti, LCSW, is a dedicated and compassionate therapist with a passion for helping children, teenagers, and adults navigate and heal from challenging life experiences. With several years of experience as a trained EMDR clinician, she has worked extensively with clients of all ages who have experienced trauma, providing effective and empathetic support. As a Registered Play Therapist, Cecile specializes in utilizing developmentally appropriate therapeutic play to facilitate expression and processing in children. In her practice, she integrates proven techniques from Play Therapy and EMDR Therapy to address the impacts of trauma on individuals and their families. Cecile is skilled at identifying the effects of trauma on clients' lives and guiding them through their healing journey. By combining a variety of modalities—such as EMDR, inner-resource strengthening, and Attachment Focused Trauma Therapy—she empowers her clients to feel safe, calm, and regulated. Cecile believes in the inherent strength within each individual and works diligently to help unearth and cultivate those strengths, ultimately leading her clients towards a path of healing and self-discovery.
