Health & Wellness is a dedicated, non-profit organization located in Sebring, Florida, committed to enhancing the lives of seniors in Highlands County and beyond. As the local Aging and Disability Resource Center, we work closely with older adults and their families to provide vital services that promote health and well-being. Our vibrant array of free, evidence-based workshops—including programs like Tai Chi, A Matter of Balance, Living Healthy, Diabetes Self-Management, and more—empowers seniors to integrate healthy choices into their daily lives. We focus on practical strategies, encouraging active participation to increase confidence in managing health challenges and maintaining independence. Through one-on-one coaching and group sessions, we help our participants establish realistic goals and develop skills to lead fulfilling, active lives, addressing both wellness and functional status. With a commitment to supporting seniors in overcoming obstacles, our programs are designed to inspire and cultivate a community where every elder feels valued and able to thrive.
