Katherine McKay, PhD, is a dedicated psychologist with over 15 years of experience in helping individuals navigate the complexities of life. She specializes in treating relationship problems, coping with life stressors, and addressing trauma, providing a nurturing space for personal growth and healing. Katherine understands that change requires steadfast commitment—to oneself and the work involved in creating a fulfilling life. In addition to individual therapy, Katherine offers group and couples therapy, as well as workshops focusing on relationships, parenting, and mindfulness. She is also skilled in psychological testing for IQ/gifted placements, surgical pre-screenings, and personality assessments. With additional training in issues of diversity and trauma, Katherine is a licensed psychologist in both New York and Florida. Her impressive background includes working with the VA Healthcare System, serving as faculty in a graduate-level psychology training program, and directing two treatment centers, all of which contribute to her comprehensive understanding of psychology and human behavior.
