Lina Moyano is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Special Education and a minor in Autism. With extensive experience serving children with developmental differences and their families, she is deeply passionate about helping parents navigate the unique challenges their children face. Lina enjoys coaching parents to follow their child's lead, fostering a connection that honors and supports development. Currently serving as the Clinical Director of Positive Development in Florida, she leads a multi-disciplinary team that offers services tailored to the specific needs of each child and family through a developmental and relationship-based approach. Unlike traditional autism therapies that often focus solely on modifying behaviors—merely scratching the surface—Lina emphasizes understanding each child's specific strengths, difficulties, and emotions from multiple perspectives, enabling deeper connections beyond the diagnosis. Recognizing that having a child with developmental differences can be challenging, she is committed to listening and getting to know each family to understand their unique needs and concerns.
