Joely Spencer

Joely Spencer, PhD, LMFT, is a dedicated Marriage & Family Therapist who believes that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and valued. Her compassion extends to individuals facing challenges in building and maintaining relationships due to unresolved issues or communication barriers. Joely recognizes that Autism, ADHD, and Neurodiversity can create empathy struggles within couples, often resulting in recurring patterns of maladaptivity that may hinder connection. Through her work, Joely empowers individuals and couples to listen with intention, confront maladaptive behaviors, and navigate confusion and anger. Her therapeutic approach fosters an environment of compromise, accountability, and forgiveness within their relationships. With extensive clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families—including step-families and those dealing with adult ADHD or autism—Joely provides a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients to explore their struggles. She is committed to helping them make sense of their experiences, especially in moments where clarity feels elusive.
