MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Pinellas Park, FL, is dedicated to enhancing the health of Veterans by providing tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission focuses on systematically screening each Veteran who accesses care at VA facilities for obesity, and connecting them with appropriate resources that align with their individual goals and preferences. We offer a comprehensive range of options including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and innovative telehealth support through TeleMOVE! for those who wish to manage their weight from the comfort of home. Veterans can also benefit from our MOVE! Coach mobile app, which empowers self-management, as well as access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for individuals who need additional assistance beyond standard weight management programs. Each facility provides varying services, so we encourage interested Veterans to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey towards a healthier life.
