Home-Delivered Meals

Home-Delivered Meals, operated by the Council on Aging of West Florida, is dedicated to providing nutritious meal assistance to seniors in Pensacola and surrounding areas. Our service delivers well-balanced meals to eligible seniors, ensuring they receive 1/3 of the daily recommended nutritional intake, while also accommodating special dietary requirements. Each delivery includes a safety check, offering peace of mind by ensuring that seniors remain safe and connected; in case of emergencies, medics will be notified and families alerted. This essential program operates with government support, and offers a sliding fee scale to accommodate all income levels, ensuring that no senior will be turned away due to financial constraints. We understand that in many regions, demand for meals far exceeds available resources, which drives our commitment to addressing food insecurity among our senior population in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.
