Roanna Black

Roanna Black, a dedicated registered mental health counselor intern, believes that asking for help can be one of the bravest steps an individual can take. She is committed to providing encouragement and support as clients navigate their path toward change. Therapy, as she sees it, is an invaluable tool for identifying and addressing the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that affect daily life. Roanna works collaboratively with clients to offer insight, structure, and guidance in a safe environment that fosters emotional expression and growth towards healthy, positive goals. She adeptly utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques including non-directive child-centered play therapy, sand-tray therapy, art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), anger management, skills building, and psychoeducation. Her primary objective is to empower clients through change, equipping them with lifelong problem-solving skills that promote healthier choices and enduring success. Roanna holds a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and has over two years of experience at the Center for Child Counseling in Palm Beach, FL, where she conducted therapy for individuals, groups, and families. She continues to be a source of support for children, adolescents, and their parents.
