Sara Keen

Sara Keen, MS, LMHC, is a dedicated counselor with nearly 15 years of experience working with children, teens, and their families. Since founding her private practice in 2015, she has developed a passion for providing support to adults as well. Sara addresses a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues, anger management, and trauma. Her background includes working with the dependency system in Florida, assisting children in foster care, and supporting individuals in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting.

Offering individual, couple, and family counseling, Sara employs a client-centered approach that prioritizes the unique needs and concerns of each individual, irrespective of diagnosis. She practices from a solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral perspective, assisting clients in discovering effective coping strategies and gaining new insights into their situations. While she engages in play activities for younger clients, her primary focus remains on fostering an environment of safety and trust, allowing clients to feel comfortable addressing their challenges.
