Barbara Ann Scott

Barbara Ann Scott is a dedicated Christian Counselor whose mission is to assist clients in fully recovering from relational trauma and wounds. By processing and praying through pain, she empowers individuals to thrive and love others deeply. With years of extensive experience as an ACHA-approved and Certified Mental Health Targeted Case Manager, as well as a Florida Department of Children and Families Certified Family Services Counselor for Florida Medicaid recipients, she serves as a supportive life coach for severe trauma victims, including those who have experienced domestic violence, foster care, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Barbara believes that if one can heal relationally, then anyone can. Having worked with hundreds of clients and collaborated with numerous therapists, she understands the most effective practices in various therapeutic approaches. Barbara intentionally fosters a genuine, trusting rapport with her clients while exploring the core issues that impede their potential. She emphasizes the profound connection between mental health and spiritual well-being, believing that healing is impossible without attending to the spiritual condition of the soul. Through Biblical and spiritual growth, combined with effective processing of relational wounds, no matter how severe, Barbara facilitates transformative healing from the inside out.
