Jennifer Rios-duque

Jennifer Rios-duque is a passionate advocate for mental health and community service. Her commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others is deeply rooted in her academic and professional journey. After graduating from Rollins College, she dedicated her efforts to working directly with at-risk youth in urban settings, contributing to transformative outcomes in underserved communities through her involvement with City Year. Her enthusiasm, drive, and compassion empower her to raise awareness about mental health, self-care, and youth empowerment. Having achieved her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Jennifer aims to provide personalized counseling tailored to individual needs. As a registered mental health counselor intern, she works with teens, adults, and couples facing challenges such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, life transitions, communication issues, family conflict, and relationship difficulties. Beyond her professional pursuits, Jennifer enjoys traveling, baking, volunteering, and staying active through sports. She believes that counseling is accessible to everyone, regardless of their circumstances, and emphasizes that every individual is significant and capable of taking the courageous step to seek help.
