Christopher Seavey

Christopher Seavey, LMHC, is a highly qualified licensed psychotherapist with certifications in addictions counseling across Florida and Massachusetts, as well as being licensed in drug and alcohol counseling in Massachusetts. He holds the distinction of being a Nationally Certified Counselor. With a wealth of experience, Christopher has served as the past president of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association and is a clinical member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association. He is also affiliated with the International Council on Alcohol and Addictions, the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors, and both the Florida and Massachusetts Associations of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors. As an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida, he shared his knowledge by teaching graduate courses in the Rehabilitation Counseling program. Christopher is also a member of the American College of Forensic Examiners and has earned certifications in Sex Therapy. Beyond these qualifications, he is recognized as a Certified Vocational Evaluator, a Florida Workers Compensation Qualified Rehabilitation Provider, a Board Certified Forensic Counselor, a DOT/SAP Evaluator, and a Diplomat in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy and Forensic Counseling. Christopher is also certified as a Domestic Violence Counselor, and he provides ADD testing as part of his extensive therapeutic offerings.
