Anastasia Whittaker

Anastasia Whittaker is a dedicated pre-licensed professional who holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University, which she earned in May of 2021. With several years of valuable experience, she has worked with diverse populations, including her role as a Patient Service Specialist at Florida Cancer Specialists and as a Survivor Specialist and Teen Outreach Counselor at the Shelter for Abused Women and Children, where she supported children, teens, and adult survivors. Her experience also includes working as a Medical Social Worker in a local hospital, where she prepared clients for safe discharges.

Anastasia specializes in helping clients navigate mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, as well as life adjustments and emotional and behavioral challenges. She employs an array of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Therapeutic Play Techniques, and Mindfulness. By creating a warm and supportive environment, Anastasia empowers her clients with tools to enhance their coping skills and focus on their strengths, ensuring they feel secure and understood throughout their therapeutic journey.
