Jackie Lamons

Dr. Jackie Lamons is a dedicated therapist with over fourteen years of experience working with both youth and adults, providing exceptional therapy in individual, family, and group counseling contexts. Her primary goal is to enhance clients' mental wellbeing and equip them with effective coping skills. Dr. Lamons treats each client as a unique individual, focusing keenly on their specific needs. Her expertise encompasses a variety of significant issues, including addiction, grief and loss, guilt and shame, anxiety, depression, trauma, blended families, and effective communication strategies. She currently serves honorably as an Army social worker and is a Qualified Supervisor. Dr. Lamons specializes in trauma, addiction, readjustment, and crisis de-escalation, collaborating closely with agencies such as Drug Court, ChildNet, and the Department of Juvenile Justice to ensure comprehensive support for her clients. With training in Hypnotherapy, Battlefield Acupuncture, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure, Dr. Lamons is known for her down-to-earth and personable nature, believing wholeheartedly in a collaborative therapeutic process.
