Dr. Monica Oganes - Psychoeducational Evaluations

Dr. Monica Oganes is a compassionate and dedicated psychologist who firmly believes that parents desire nothing but the best for their children. With a PhD in school psychology and clinical neuropsychology, she brings a wealth of experience from diverse settings including public schools, hospitals, and private practice. Dr. Oganes has a remarkable ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations that uncover the root of psychological issues and guide the development of targeted interventions, working closely with parents to create effective learning plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Her counseling services are beneficial for children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as behavioral problems, anxiety, depression, social skills deficits, and various life obstacles. Passionate about her work, Dr. Oganes is also a former President of the Florida Association of School Psychologists and has held roles as the Latino CoChair and Florida Delegate for the National Association of School Psychologists. She has delivered numerous workshops domestically and internationally, authored book chapters, and contributed expert opinions to magazines and television programs focused on youth mental health. Dr. Oganes operates within the multicultural framework, offering services in both English and Spanish, and leads a unique practice, Monica Oganes & Associates, that serves clients throughout Florida, Central America, and South America.
