Cristina Behrens Soulavy is a registered mental health counselor intern who has a profound passion for assisting others in regaining control over their lives and unlocking their fullest potential. She recognizes that the demands of life, along with the various roles individuals are expected to play, can lead to inauthentic versions of oneself. These challenges often manifest in negative feelings such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and diminished life satisfaction. Having been born and raised in Venezuela and having lived in France, Germany, Argentina, and the USA, Cristina possesses a unique sensitivity to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. With a strong foundation in psychoanalytic theory and a wide array of evidence-based treatment methods, she collaborates with her clients to help them identify their needs, cultivate effective coping strategies, and empower them on their journey toward achieving personal goals. Fluent in Spanish and English, and proficient in French, Cristina is a dynamic, genuine, creative, and compassionate clinician. She is dedicated to fostering a safe, non-judgmental environment where her clients can explore their needs as they navigate their paths to becoming the best version of themselves.
