Healthy Start Coalition in Merritt Island, FL, is dedicated to improving the health and developmental outcomes of pregnant women, infants, and children up to age three. Our mission focuses on reducing infant mortality and the incidence of low birth weight babies through targeted support services tailored to address specific risks. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including outreach, care coordination, childbirth education, nutrition counseling, psychosocial support, tobacco education and cessation programs, breastfeeding education, and home visiting. Our program is open to all pregnant women at high risk of poor pregnancy outcomes, regardless of marital, economic, or immigration status, as well as post-partum women with infants up to three years old. To participate, simply consult your OB/GYN to complete a screening for Healthy Start and take the first step toward a healthier future.
