Family Nutrition Program

The Family Nutrition Program, offered by UF/IFAS Extension in Merritt Island, FL, is dedicated to supporting SNAP-eligible individuals and families in making healthier food choices on a budget. Through practical nutrition education and engaging virtual classes, we empower our community to cultivate healthier eating habits and active lifestyles, ultimately lowering the risk of obesity and chronic diseases. In addition to direct support for participants, the program extends free resources to local organizations, fostering a culture of healthy eating and physical activity throughout the area.
