Daniel Paulson

Daniel Paulson understands that seeking therapy signifies an acknowledgment of life’s complexities and the hope for a brighter future. He specializes in addressing the distinct challenges experienced by older adults and their families. With a profound belief in the importance of mental health for overall well-being, Daniel collaborates with clients to identify individual goals and employs scientifically supported strategies to achieve them. His approach has led many individuals to experience increased happiness in their relationships and greater life satisfaction. Daniel provides a variety of services aimed at improving mental health for adults and older adults, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), memory function and dementia assessments, and specialized therapy tailored for insomnia and sleep disorders. He also offers planning consultations for families facing a dementia diagnosis. In addition to his private practice, Daniel serves as a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at UCF, where he conducts research focusing on depression and the interplay between medical and mental health. Through both his academic work and practice in Maitland, Daniel is dedicated to serving the public and advancing clinical science.
