The Healthy Start Coalition in Lake Worth, FL, is dedicated to creating a healthier future for mothers, infants, and young children by significantly reducing infant mortality and the incidence of low birth weight babies. We provide essential support services tailored specifically for pregnant women and families with children up to age three, ensuring access to comprehensive care that includes outreach, care coordination, childbirth education, parenting support, and nutrition counseling. Our programs also focus on psychosocial support, tobacco cessation, and breastfeeding education, all designed to enhance health outcomes for those at high risk of poor pregnancy outcomes. We welcome all pregnant women, regardless of marital, economic, or immigration status, and encourage prospective participants to speak with their OB/GYNs to get screened for Healthy Start services.
