MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Kissimmee, FL, through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to support every Veteran accessing care at VA facilities by annually screening for obesity and connecting them to tailored weight management services that meet individual needs. We offer a range of resources including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for supportive in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-directed methods, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides essential tools for weight management. Additionally, we address more complex weight-related challenges through weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have not found success with our initial programs.
