Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida (LSSNEFL) is dedicated to combating food insecurity in Jacksonville, FL, by providing vital food assistance to individuals and families in need. Our Food Pantry operates with a welcoming approach, allowing clients to visit once a month without an appointment, ensuring access to nutritious food. In addition to our pantry services, our Backpack Program supports local schoolchildren by supplying meals and snacks for weekends, targeted at those who benefit from free or reduced lunches during the school week. We aim to alleviate hunger in our community, reaching children in 15 schools across Duval and Clay Counties. Furthermore, our Serving Our Seniors initiative delivers groceries directly to low-income seniors each month, ensuring they receive the support they need. Together, we strive to create a healthier, more nourished community for everyone.
