Nicole Story is a dedicated marriage and family therapist, holding degrees including EDS and MEd, and certifications as an LMFT and LMHC. After a year of Teletherapy and safety precautions, she proudly offers in-person Walk & Talk outdoor sessions in beautiful local nature settings, catering to children, teens, and adults. Nicole is also well-versed in working with attorney-referred clients requiring evaluations for USCIS and Immigration Court, accepting referrals from various states including California, New York, and Miami. She provides psychometric assessments in both English and Spanish and has a foundational grasp of German, French, Spanish, and Irish. Operating from the Max Story Law office suite at the Consumer Justice Law Firm, Nicole is a licensed psychotherapist in Florida with expertise in both Mental Health and Family Therapy. With advanced degrees from the University of Florida, she serves as a State of Florida Qualified Clinical Supervisor for MHC and MFT, is the President Emeritus of NEFAMFT, and co-chairs the FAMFT Ethics Committee. An accomplished Clinical Director and Adjunct Professor at Santa Fe College, she is also recognized as an Expert Witness. Originally from Ireland/UK with a BA in Cultural Psychology from Rollins College, Nicole has been a proud Jacksonville Beach resident for 20 years. She treats and assesses children and adults for various conditions, including Child/Adult ADHD, Asperger’s/Social Communication Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Support Animals, Extreme Hardship, Personality, and career transitions, utilizing a humanistic, CBT, and mindfulness approach for clients of all ages.
