Women, Infants & Children (WIC)

Women, Infants & Children (WIC) in Homestead, FL, is a vital, federally funded nutrition program dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children. We provide essential services at no cost, including access to healthy foods, personalized nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare and community resources. Our clients use a WIC EBT card to easily purchase WIC-approved foods at local grocery stores. WIC is available to women who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding, have recently given birth, and to children up to five years old. To be eligible, applicants must meet specific income guidelines, and those already receiving Medicaid, Temporary Cash Assistance, or Food Stamps automatically qualify.
