Senior Programs in Homestead, FL, part of Feeding South Florida, is dedicated to combating food insecurity among low-income seniors by providing essential food assistance tailored to their needs. Understanding the challenges that seniors face, particularly those with limited mobility or transportation, we offer vital nutrition through our Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and a Home Delivery Program. Each month, we distribute nutritious CSFP food boxes at designated locations throughout Miami-Dade County, ensuring that seniors receive the resources they need. For those eligible, our Client Services team conducts thorough intakes to facilitate the delivery of food boxes right to their doorsteps, making it easier for older adults to access necessary dietary support. Our mission reflects a commitment to ensuring that every senior has access to healthy food and the dignity they deserve.
